Female blanket octopus is about 40,000 times heavier than the male blanket octopus. Not only this, the female is also about 100 times larger in size.

The leatherback sea turtles are the largest living turtle species. They are also the fourth largest of all reptile species.

The clown fish live with the sea anemones. A coating of mucus protect them from lethal tentacles of the anemones.

Did you know that a jellyfish is 95% water?

Dumbo octopus got its name from their paired fins that look like elephant ears.



Starfish don't have any brains. They don't even have a single drop of blood in their bodies

One of the most interesting facts about Seahorse is that it must eat all the time in order to stay alive. They don't have any stomach or teeth and the food passes through their digestive system very quickly so they should eat all the time.

Clown fish can change sex. All clown fish are born male and when a female dies, the most dominant male clown fish changes its sex and becomes female.

An adult blue whale can weigh 180,000 kilograms.

Starfish can regenerate a lost arm and in some cases a new starfish is generated from an arm.

Starfish doesn't always have 5 arms. Some species can have many more arms like the sun star which can have up to 40 arms.

Did you know that dolphins are the only mammals whose babies are born tail first? This was an interesting dolphin fact!

The flying fish don't actually fly. They just jump out of the water and then go back in after gliding for a while.

Starfish has two stomachs.

Mimic octopus got its name because of its ability to mimic other creatures around it.

Hawaiian monk seals completely dedicate themselves to their newborns for a few months and don't even eat food during this time. As a result they can lose considerable weight.
