Twenty Twenty Cricket
65What is Twenty Twenty Cricket
The Twenty Twenty cricket, which is often referred to as the T20 cricket, is a type of cricket game having 2 innings consisting of twenty overs each. It is played like an ODI(the fifty over game), the only difference being of overs. The power-play overs and maximum overs limit per bowler are also limited accordingly.
T20 World Cup
The T20 world cup is held once in every two years. Till now two T20 world cups have been conducted; the first one was won by India with Pakistan being the runners up in 2007, Pakistan won the second one beating Sri Lanka comprehensively in the final match in 2009.
Criticism
Although this format has been proved successful, it has been argued that since Twenty20 encourages far-from-technical cricket, youngsters will be misguided into believing that cricket is all about trying to hit fours and sixes and getting out in the process.

G'day mate, I just caught the news that the Kiwis beat Australia in extra time over the weekend. :-)
G'day , we did not get these games on TV, very disappointing for us, I love the 20/20 format I think it will supersede the 50 over game, whadaya reckon :-)
Great Hub...
T20 is the best innovation that the cricket world has come up with for ages. It's incredibly exciting especially when the run chase is on...
We were fortunate to host the Indian T20 here in South Africa last year....brilliant!
Regards
Greg
Ahhh cricket.
It would be best if I do not comment.
Myself, I am a football person.

I don't know much about cricket despite most of my relatives do and have played it when young, but I do know that I'd rather watch this game than baseball!!! Oops, did I "say" that out loud? LOL
Great hub, Ultimate Hubber!
